Concept of Social Entrepreneurship (SE) has been actively developing in Georgia since 2009. There are around 100 operating SEs countrywide. In 2016, SEA Georgia was established by Social Enterprises and CSOs supporting promotion of the sphere. SEA is an umbrella organization that aims at raising awareness on SE, supporting networking and experience sharing among SEs, Lobbing and advocating SE needs on national and local levels. In frames of the CE week SEA will organize an online seminar on SE. The main target groups will be CSOs and young people who would like to get more information about SE concept, importance of SE in country’s social and economic development; SEs operating in Georgia, and opportunities of becoming a social entrepreneur. The seminar will last 2 hours and will be led by experienced expert on SE. Moreover, the seminar will be attended by guest speaker active Social Entrepreneurs in Georgia who will share their success stories and challenges on the way of big achievements.
