<p>On October 9-11, 2020,&nbsp;the Xth&nbsp; international social youth advertising festival&nbsp;“Another vision”&nbsp;will be held in Odessa (Ukraine), as a part of the EENCE&nbsp;Citizenship Education Week.</p>



<p><strong>The goal</strong> of the festival is to draw public attention to the problems of human right issues, inclusion, gender equality, ecology, tolerance and mutual respect, intergenerational relationship&nbsp; emerging social crises, as well as the possibility of a joint problem-solving.</p>



<p>The festival will host <strong>a competition of social videos on the topic citizenship education and human rights named “The Art of Living together&#8221;</strong>.</p>



<p>The participation in the competition is open for applicants from different regions and countries of the Eastern Partnership of the European Union (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and Russia. </p>



<p>Representatives of other countries are eligible to participate if their work is related to life in the countries of the specified region. </p>



<p>Media professionals and schoolchildren, students&nbsp; and civic activists of any age can be participants of the festival.</p>



<p>To participate in the competition, <strong>by September 15, 2020 </strong>you need to follow these steps :send your video (or link for downloading it) to email: <a>eence.socialcontest@gmail.com</a>, indicating in the subject of the email the country you represent and the surname of the author</p>



<p>&#8211; <strong><a href="https://bit.ly/2WSUGSD">register</a></strong> on the festival website</p>



<p>&#8211; or send an application for participation (it might be the same email with your video) to <a>eence.socialcontest@gmail.com</a> (in Russian and English). Indicate the name of the video; name of the author / authors; country, goal, focus group and a short description of the video in your application form.</p>



<p>The selection will be carried out by the jury chaired by director and screenwriter <a href="https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%91%D0%B0%D0%BB%D0%B0%D1%8F%D0%BD,_%D0%92%D0%B0%D0%BB%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D0%92%D0%B0%D0%B7%D0%B3%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B8%D1%87">Valery Balayan</a>.</p>



<p>The participation in the contest is free of charge.</p>

<p>Winners will be announced by the end of September 2020.</p>



<p><strong>Winners of the competition will receive diplomas and valuable prizes.</strong></p>



<p>Also, the winners of the competition will be invited to the NECE conference &#8211; European Citizenship Education Network, which is scheduled for 5-7th November in Berlin (Germany). The conference will be held in English.</p>



<p>&nbsp;The Competition organizers have the right to: use the competition works within various EENCE events for non-commercial purposes and without paying a compensation to the author (group of authors), but with the obligatory indication of the name of the author (co-authors).</p>



<p>&nbsp;Videos will be also posted on social networks, sites and EENCE channels.</p>



<p>&nbsp;<strong>We guarantee compliance with all copyrights.</strong></p>



<p><em>In case of third parties claims, demands and lawsuits, including claims of copyright holders and rights related to the provided work, the participant agrees to solve it on his own behalf and at his own expense.</em></p>

<p>We invite you to partake in the competition of online practices held within the Week of citizenship education! </p>



<p>Representatives of civil organizations (NGOs, associations, foundations, non-profit institutions), state and academic organizations, institutions of formal and non-formal education from all countries of the Eastern Partnership and Russia are invited to participate in the competition.</p>



<p>The situation connected with the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, when millions of people lost access to traditional forms of education, proved thenecessity for the available and high-quality online resources necessary for organizing formal education as a part of the school and other educational institutions curricula, as well as the sphere of non-formal education.</p>



<p>Furthermore, well-designed online products and services (events / programs / courses, etc.) can expand the access of various focus groups to education, reduce the cost of implementing curricula, improve the effectiveness of the curricula (especially in combination with conventional forms of training) .</p>



<p><strong>The main objectives of the competition:</strong></p>



<ul><li>Promotion and public awareness of the best practices and providers of citizenship education in the Eastern Partnership region and Russia.</li><li>Increasing sustainability and improving the quality of projects and programs in the sphere of citizenship education through the exchange of experience in implementing online and distance learning tools.</li></ul>



<p>Winners of the competition will be determined in two <strong>categories</strong>:</p>



<ul><li><strong>online practice implemented in the field of citizenship education</strong> (descriptions of the events held and the results achieved are accepted for the competition)</li><li>&nbsp;<strong>online practices planned in the sphere of citizenship education</strong> ( descriptions of concepts of planned events and expected results are accepted for the competition).</li></ul>

<ul><li>Raising public awareness on the problems and challenges in the sphere of citizenship education.</li><li>Development of civic competencies.</li><li>Increasing interest in citizenship education.</li><li>Giving an overview of citizenship education.</li><li>Discussion of relevant issues of the citizenship education development in the formal and informal spheres.</li><li>Discussion of the citizenship education role in the global world.</li><li>Development of the image and sustainability of the citizenship education.</li><li>Promotion of various tools and resources for citizenship education providers.</li><li>Involving different focus groups in citizenship education programs.</li><li>Development of cooperation between citizenship education providers.</li><li>Promotion of citizenship education providers</li></ul>

<p>In the global world, where everyone speaks their own language, has their experience, protects their values and interests, it is so easy to face the misunderstanding of those who live different values or get into different circumstances. We can make the world around us both comfortable or unacceptable for ourselves and others.&nbsp; There is no doubt that telling about difficulties, understanding and helping another person is much more complicated than ignoring needs of other people and other communities. To understand that, it is necessary to master the art of living together, constructive art of appreciating one another, to support those who are different from you, to build a society where everyone can feel safe.</p>



<p>The <strong>International Poster Contest “THE ART OF LIVING TOGETHER”</strong> is a social contest designed to draw attention to the problems of citizenship education and to involve people who previously ignored this issue.</p>



<p><strong>The topic of the competition is the art of living together, understanding and supporting each other.</strong></p>



<p><strong>The goal</strong> is reconciliation and understanding of people, communities and systems based on human values, multiculturalism and human rights.</p>



<p><strong>The objectives</strong> of the competition are to awaken an active citizenship in people living in the countries of Eastern Partnership of the European Union and Russia, to motivate them to be responsible, tolerant, ready to understand different communities and social values.</p>

<p><strong>Competition Stages:&nbsp;</strong></p>



<p>1. Qualifying (<strong>until July 31, 2020</strong>). To participate in the qualifying round, please fill out the <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdp7C2OWSAGW3OaC9D0FSpx2OQzsRdnZVlm_FE4O4NKYGOmyw/viewform?usp=send_form">Google form</a> and send the layout of the poster by e-mail <a>eence.cew.poster@gmail.com</a>. At this stage, participants are registered and the work is checked for compliance with the requirements.</p>



<p>&nbsp;2. Based on the results of the jury&#8217;s work, the winners of the 1st round will be determined (by August 15, 2020);</p>



<p>3. Announcement of the semifinals winners&nbsp; will be made on&nbsp; August 25, 2020.</p>



<p>4. Winners of the 2nd round (3 finalists) are determined by the jury of the competition and (1 finalist) by the results of online voting for the work (on the page of the EENCE Citizenship Education Week).</p>



<p>5. Announcement of the winners of the final stage will be held on&nbsp; September 1, 2020</p>



<p>6. Awarding of the winners takes place at the International week of citizenship education &#8211; October 5-11, 2020.</p>

<p><strong>Poster topics may cover the following topics:</strong></p>



<ol><li><strong>Responsibility in times of crisis and epidemics</strong><strong> </strong>(civil liability under quarantine and other restrictions associated with danger to human life).</li><li><strong>Gender equality</strong><strong> </strong>(to foster respect for an individual regardless of gender, gender and sexual identity; the elimination of restrictions and discrimination based on gender differences).</li><li><strong>Ethnic equality</strong><strong> </strong>(respect for an individual regardless of national and cultural affiliation, manifestations of national cultures that do not contradict the values ​​of modern society; avoidance of discrimination on the basis of the physical, linguistic and worldview of certain nations, on the basis of citizenship).</li><li><strong>Freedom of worldview</strong><strong> </strong>(avoidance of worldview conflicts based on religious, political and other disagreements, for example, between people of different generations and different life experiences)</li><li><strong>Together</strong><strong> </strong>(understanding and acceptance of people with different looks, different health conditions (physical and mental), people with special needs, representatives of different age groups, place of residence, social status, etc.<strong>)</strong></li><li><strong>The art of understanding</strong><strong> </strong>(ways to find understanding, establish communication, support, help those who live next to us, make living together comfortable, environmentally friendly, conducive to the development of society and each of its representatives)<strong>.&nbsp;</strong></li><li><strong>Human rights</strong><strong> </strong>(respect for human rights and freedoms, such as the right to life and freedom, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many others)<strong>.</strong></li><li><strong>Other topics that reveal the different values of citizenship education </strong>(Values such as human dignity, responsibility, tolerance, and democracy are revealed to varying degrees. In addition, national traditions and patriotism are often seen as important values to be taught.)</li></ol>



<p><strong>Requirements for candidates:</strong></p>



<ul><li>Everyone who is interested in this competition, both professional artists, beginners, and even amateurs, can take part in the competition.&nbsp;</li><li>Participants can represent the countries of Eastern Partnership (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and Russia, or they can be representatives of other countries if their works cover topics of citizenship education in Eastern Europe.&nbsp;</li><li>Participants must be at least 14 years old.</li><li>Participation can be either individual or group ones.</li><li>Each participant may submit not more than two works for the competition (three works may be submitted if they constitute a triptych.)&nbsp;</li></ul>



<p><strong>Winner&#8217;s reward ceremony:</strong></p>



<p>All posters that have passed the selection will be presented on the pages of social networks of the East European Network of Citizenship Education Organizations (with compulsory attribution)</p>



<p><strong>The works of the winners of the semi-finals (20 best posters) will be:</strong></p>



<ul><li>printed and shown at exhibitions of countries participating in the East European Network of Citizenship Education Organizations;</li><li>published in the competition catalog, as well as presented on the pages of social networks of the EENCE (with compulsory attribution);</li><li>presented at the youth festival of social advertising “Another vision” (Ukraine, Odessa, October 9-11, 2020);</li><li>exhibited in the countries of Eastern Partnership of Europe and Russia at the International Citizenship Education Week October 5-11, 2020</li></ul>



<p><strong>The winners in the final of the competition (4 best posters) will receive:</strong></p>



<ul><li>a diploma of victory in the International competition &#8220;The Art of Living Together&#8221;;</li><li>a printed copy in the catalog of the best works;</li><li>a valuable prize from the organizers (Netflix subscription / payment of an extended data account storage for 1 year / antivirus software package for different devices / a graphics tablet).</li></ul>



<p><strong>Each contest work is evaluated according to the following criteria:</strong></p>



<ul><li>correspondence of the work to a given topic;</li><li>depth of disclosure of the content of the topic;</li><li>professionalism of the solution;</li><li>accuracy and clarity of language and style of presentation of the topic;</li><li>creativity (novelty of idea, originality) of the competition work;</li><li>social significance, relevance and motivation for action;</li><li>visual implementation of the idea.</li></ul>



<p><strong>The use of contest works&nbsp;</strong></p>



<p>The works of the Contest participants can be used to promote the ideas of citizenship education. The Competition organizers have the right to: use the competition works within various EENCE events for non-commercial purposes and without paying a compensation to the author (group of authors), but with the obligatory indication of the name of the author (co-authors).The contest organizers reserve the right to add the logo of the International Citizenship Education Week to the contest posters. </p>



<p>In case<em> of third parties claims, demands and lawsuits, including claims of copyright holders and rights related to the provided work, the participant agrees to solve it on his own behalf and at his own expense.</em></p>



<p><strong>Contest works requirements:</strong></p>



<ul><li>compliance with one of the topics mentioned above or other topics that reveal the essence of citizenship education;</li><li>works which contain policial or commercial advertising, violate copyrights (the use of other people&#8217;s materials) or contain information degrading a person or a group of persons in any form are not permitted;</li><li>the poster must have a title;</li><li>only copyrighted works of the contestant are accepted.</li><li>еach competitive work must be accompanied by an <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdp7C2OWSAGW3OaC9D0FSpx2OQzsRdnZVlm_FE4O4NKYGOmyw/viewform?usp=send_form">applicatio</a>n with a low resolution layout of work.&nbsp;</li></ul>



<p>If the participant submits two different works, he must fill out two different forms. If the work is a diptych or triptych, the layout of the work should be presented in one file.</p>
