Contest of social video clips оn the topic of citizenship education and human rights “The Art of Living Together”
On October 9-11, 2020, the Xth international social youth advertising festival “Another vision” will be held in Odessa (Ukraine), as a part of the EENCE Citizenship Education Week.
The goal of the festival is to draw public attention to the problems of human right issues, inclusion, gender equality, ecology, tolerance and mutual respect, intergenerational relationship emerging social crises, as well as the possibility of a joint problem-solving.
The festival will host a competition of social videos on the topic citizenship education and human rights named “The Art of Living together”.
The participation in the competition is open for applicants from different regions and countries of the Eastern Partnership of the European Union (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and Russia.
Representatives of other countries are eligible to participate if their work is related to life in the countries of the specified region.
Media professionals and schoolchildren, students and civic activists of any age can be participants of the festival.
To participate in the competition, by September 15, 2020 you need to follow these steps :send your video (or link for downloading it) to email: eence.socialcontest@gmail.com, indicating in the subject of the email the country you represent and the surname of the author
– register on the festival website
– or send an application for participation (it might be the same email with your video) to eence.socialcontest@gmail.com (in Russian and English). Indicate the name of the video; name of the author / authors; country, goal, focus group and a short description of the video in your application form.
The selection will be carried out by the jury chaired by director and screenwriter Valery Balayan.
The participation in the contest is free of charge.
Evaluation criteria:
- compliance to the topic of citizenship education
- originality and creativity of the idea
- embodiment quality and visual implementation of the idea
- lack of political or commercial advertising
- social significance
- copyright compliance
- compliance with technical specifications (timing 1-3 minutes)
Winners will be announced by the end of September 2020.
Winners of the competition will receive diplomas and valuable prizes.
Also, the winners of the competition will be invited to the NECE conference – European Citizenship Education Network, which is scheduled for 5-7th November in Berlin (Germany). The conference will be held in English.
The Competition organizers have the right to: use the competition works within various EENCE events for non-commercial purposes and without paying a compensation to the author (group of authors), but with the obligatory indication of the name of the author (co-authors).
Videos will be also posted on social networks, sites and EENCE channels.

In case of third parties claims, demands and lawsuits, including claims of copyright holders and rights related to the provided work, the participant agrees to solve it on his own behalf and at his own expense.
